Day 2 255

Day two. I lost one pound. The scale said 255.1 and yesterday the . (point) was higher, I just don't think I want to worry about ounces, that would stress me more I think. I should be happy with one pound and I am I just the 3 pound days!

I went walking this morning and that made me happy. I got up at 5:25 and got back at 6:50. I wonder what that will do to the scales, sometimes exercise doesn't do anything for me. A couple of years ago I went exercising for 6 months strait, 3-4 miles a day and lost nothing! I didn't change my eating habits but you would have thought I would have lost something!

I really want to be under the 250's and NEVER see it again. I wonder how long that will take. Hopefully just a week. Please! Ü

Round 2 Day 1, I'M BACK!


I'm BACK!!! I am starting today for my second round of HCG. I had some mixed in the refrigerator (thawed from storing it in the freezer from my last round) I had planned on starting again about 6 weeks ago but things happen...

Anyhow, I weighed myself today, back up a tiny from my all time low and even from my average low during this "off time". Today I am 256. I
HOPE to lose 30 lbs this round. Last round I think I lost 30 for a day or maybe 28 or 29? Of course if you count today I lost 21 but today is weird and high (easier to lose if you start on a high I guess so not all bad!) I need to take measurements to see where I'm at and where I will go :)

I planned on starting exercise this morning but I was woken up at 12:30 and it took me 2 hours and a Tylenol PM to fall back asleep, thus I didn't wake up until 7, too late to go in the morning (kids) maybe I will get to it later today but I wont feel bad if I don't!

So here is to today and I
thinner body just in time for the holidays which again is good & bad!

Lo and Behold....


This phase 3 really sucks. I mean it's summer with BBQ's and ice cream. Kids are home all day long with their food needs and brownie treats. Lately the household (and my) treat has been peanut butter M&M's, not quite so healthy. I have been grateful that my weight has not really fluctuated that much over the past 5 weeks. It makes me wonder if the whole thing about HCG "resetting" your metabolism might be kind of true. These is only so much I believe about a diet and this was something I did not really believe in. Anyhow, I got on the scale yesterday and lo and behold...249! I have actually got under 250 something that I was never able to do in phase 2. I am actually a bit excited to start phase 2 again next week. I hope that again I can lose another 25-30 lbs.

So it's been a while.....


Well I haven't been weighing myself everyday like I am supposed to, about every three days or so and for the most part I have been at 253 which I am perfectly happy with. Of course when I went to the doctor I was about 5 lbs more than my home scale. I like when I went to the hospital for my endometrial ablation, there when I was weighed it was in kilograms and I weighed only 117, I like that. It's like British stones, I weigh 17 stone, that is awesome here in the US when no one knows what that means (a stone= 14 lbs).

Anyhow, today when I weighed myself I was back to my all time low, 250. It might only last for a day but I am totally happy with that! Especially when my husband says to me yesterday, "so you quit your stupid diet now?" Nice support.....

I have noticed that when crap is around the house I will eat it. I make a point of not buying it so it is not in the house. If there were M&M's here, I would eat them. Same with Teddy Grahams, Love those but I would eat the whole box. I do buy sugar free Popsicles and Quaker Rice snacks for "healthier treats".

Day 50, 256 arughhhh!





Oh I HATE this next portion of this diet. This is SO hard. I am supposed to be eating like an Atkins diet which means basically no carbs. Well, I had a mini holiday with my sisters during which I ate half a bag of animal crackers, Pizza Hut pan pizza, a Blommin'Onion & ribs from Outback.


I then went to a family party during which I ate a sandwich and yes, about 4 chocolate chip cookies. THEN I basically had a breakdown yesterday and ate eggs & hash browns, a million dumps (chocolate no-bake oatmeal cookies) then to top it all off a Fat Boy ice cream. I have been having my period & got sunburned so I am hoping my weight was high because of that as I was +9 (arughhhhh) today I weighed myself and was at 256 so I was down again but still +6 from my lowest, although I only ever weighed 250 for one day. I have stayed around 252/253 for a long while, until now of course.

Well today is another day and yes, I do plan on staying away from treats for sure as those are almost always my downfall.

I can't wait to get back on the HCG, real or psychological it totally helps!

I really wanted to be down but I also realize that that might be impossible with Aunt Flo's pending arrival....Darn pissy

Day 37, 250!!!

Down a pound again, Yahoo~ I can't wait for one more pound then I'l be in the 40's. Still I have 13 lbs to be under (by one pound) my pre-pregnancy weight and 50 more to be under my all time (since babies) weight of 201 (2004). This is exciting though as I have actually lost weight and feel good about doing what I am doing. I am a bit worried about going off the Hcg and moving to the Atkins diet for a month. I hope I can still lose weight even if it is just a little.

Day 35, down again 251 YAY~ I didn't have a very good day either yesterday. I ate nuts and was depressed so I ate some of the apple pie I made for Greg for Fathers day. I was still down which is crazy but also fantastic!

Day 33 FINALLY DOWN! 252


YAY! I think I might have finally broken my plateau! I certainly hope so, it has been ridicules! I was at 252 this morning! I so want to hit 247 (30lbs) before going into P3 but if I don't that is still fine. I have been very happy with my weight loss to date (other than my week stall) I did finally do a Midol day yesterday and I wonder if that is why I finally broke that stall. I really wish I would have measured myself. I guess now is better than never eh? May be I'll get to that today. SO happy though, hope tomorrow has good news too!

SO far this slightly sucks. Today is day 30! Wow! I am very proud of myself as I have not been on a diet in like 4 years. Weill it is suppose to be a change in lifestyle right? I really hope so. It can get discouraging when your weight loss tapers and that is what it has done. I am stuck for about a week at 254. I went down to 253 once. I know it will drop again, I just don't know when. I also have 13 days left on P2. That is totally crazy! I used to want to go on P3, now I am scared of it. All the food I want less carbs & sugar. I need to make an effort to post daily as I like writing my thoughts down.

Might bit discouraging


I think this might be what they call a plateau. I am on day 26 and I have lost a total of 23lbs and I have been stuck here (From 253-256) since Monday. Today I am 254. I know I need to drink more water and I also know I eat a lot of salt. I crave "taste" which is what salt gives. I guess I need an apple day, too bad apples are not my favorite thing.

Today is also my birthday, my mom & sisters are taking me out tonight. I plan on getting fish and veggies and that be my meal of the day. It's not bad to have only one meal is it?

I am just over TOM and I don't track anything other than full pounds as I think that would really stress me. I just really would love the weight to drop like it did the first two weeks, right not I am tracking like a normal 1500 calorie diet. Who wants that!

I did have two cheats this week, real cheats. My daughter had a bag of yummy rice cakes. They overwhelmed me and I ate the rest of the bag. They are 50 calories to 7 cakes and I bet I ate 21 cakes. On that same day (I think it was Wednesday) I also had nuts. I did it because I ate the rice cakes. I have also eaten steak this week that was not lean steak. Granted , I try not to eat the fat (who likes fat anyways) and I say to myself that it is a steak you could eat on the Atkins diet. I guess it is not working for me though. Starting tomorrow I will me super strict again. Only chicken and fish (I did pick up some handy salmon fillets in 4oz frozen servings). I just need to be perfect and get of this plateau. No fun.. I like losing 2 lbs a day!

Three weeks, down 23 pounds

Okay, it has been several days since my last post. I have been good, I have lost 23 lbs in 21 days. Of course I get greedy and want more but come on, this is fantastic! I am almost out of my HCG, I should get more in the mail but I need more mixing stuff. Clueless on this and the internet which is usually helpful does not always have a lot of information on HCG, message boards and such. Good days though! I still am proud of myself, I mean I am the biggest sugar fan EVER! and I have gone three weeks without it. I have to admit that I am excited for phase three. That is when you have 6 weeks on basically the Atkins diet. I also decided that when I go to MO in August (I will be in phase 3) I will go off the diet for those 5 days. I am totally excited for that and I am planning all that I will eat!...is that bad???

It's been a few days....


Okay, I haven't posted in a bit, Depression? Well maybe it is my stupid period. I always gain a bit with my period so it has not been fun on the scale. I went down to 257 then back to 261 and in between for the past few days. I did have a couple of cheats too. Neither one bad in my opinion.

Last Sunday I made a new recipe for mac-n-cheese. I dished it out to all my kids then way tempted I took a bite. Really good. Well after a half hour or so I was so wanting more I went into the kitchen an dished out about 1/3 of a cup on a plate and ate it. No regrets really. The other "cheat" was on Monday I ate nothing all day as I knew Greg wanted to go out to dinner. We decided instead of going out we should just go to Walmart and get steaks. YUM! I know I ate more than 3.5 oz but it was all I ate all day long and it was GOOOOD!

Well yay for me, this morning I got on the scale to a new low 256....maybe it's all the blow loss, ewwww....

262 day 11


YAY, 15 pounds! I prefer the 2-5 pounds a day but I know that is especially rare and probably not going to happen anymore, I think I have slows to the 1 lb every other day. I accept that. My food today was the usual. Chicken for lunch & dinner. 2 cups of hot chocolate for a total of 120 calories. Mushrooms, a tomato and crystal light.

Finally! 263

Okay, I was right. You get so don't anxious with this diet because you want the pounds to drop off right away. Not like a normal diet when you wait a week for a 2 pound drop. I was careful about eating today. I had been weighing my chicken but it is annoying so I decided I will just thaw a small chicken breast from the big Costco bag and cut it in half. I figure I am getting 100, 125 calories instead of 87 calories from a 3.5 oz. When I use half of a Costco chicken breast it is 4 oz. I am not going over 500 calories either. Chicken and tomato for lunch & dinner. Hot chocolate & crystal light. Oh yes, a 9pm apple.

266 WTF? Day 8

I ate ribs & it does this? ARUGH! Well today because of time, I had two trips to the airport I didn't eat a lot. I had a tomato for lunch. ½ of a Wendy's chicken nugget, I ate it not thinking (leftovers from my daughter) then a steak & mushrooms for dinner. I did have my cheating items. Crystal light, sugar free hot chocolate and sugar free breath mints. Those things might add up to 100 cal. I still feel good though. Come on! I am eating healthy for sure, even if the weight stays for a (tiny) bit.

Day 7 265

Okay, I guess I know I can't loose everyday but it sure feels better when I do! I was actually bad today in terms of this diet. I made BBQ ribs today. I was just cutting some off the bone for the kids and I ended up trying it, harmless right. Than another bite and another.... I didn't eat a lot but it was ribs (and really good for that matter). Then I figured that I did that I might as well eat the corn on the cob I had made too. No butter, just salt. For lunch I had my small steak & mushrooms which surprisingly tasted fine just sauteed without butter. I have turned into a salt freak! Better tomorrow I hope

Day 6 265


12 pounds in 6 days. Not bad at all. Certainly a lot better than the average of two days a week! Today was my 1st no shot day, I wondered how it would affect me, it didn't. We went to church today which was distracting, not food there so that was good. It is harder with all the kids home, me in the kitchen all day long. Today I didn't have lunch until 3pm. I had steak & tomatoes. I wasn't hungry for dinner at 6 so I just skipped the mean portion and just had two small tomatoes, My body must be wondering WHAT IS UP! No sugar, tomatoes galore… I was certainly tempted today though. Cheyenne made super awesome chocolate chip cookies that I wanted so badly. It was like the breakfast I made everyone on Saturday, hash browns, eggs, orange juice, and bacon. Oh I wanted those hash browns most of all. I have to say I made it though! Again, YAY
for me!

Day 6, no loss

Well today is day 5 and for the first time I don't have a loss. I am not sad as I have lost 10 lbs in 5 days, I can wait a day or so to see change on the scale. Today I had chicken (3.5 oz) and tomato for lunch and steak (3.5) and tomato for dinner. I had a pear later and then read the protocol and found that for some reason pears are not allowed? Anyhow, I guess I will go back to apples even though pears this time of year taste fantastic!

Day 5, 267 10 lbs in 5 days!

Well it has been 5 days and I have lost 10 lbs, which ROCKS! Today was fine, still need to work on water. I ate 3.5 oz steak & a tomato for lunch, a salad with vinaigrette dressing (5 calories for 2 tablespoons) for a mid day snack and an apple. Then a 3.5 oz steak for dinner with asparagus. I have been trying to be faithful about eating dinner by 6 and no snacks after that either. I am certainly happy with things as it is moving so fast! I still have a TON more to lose but it is always encouraging to have things move fast.

Day 3 271

So far so good! I am still losing and so far I have not been hungry. Hannah wanted Savannah to make brownies around 9. Lucky for me she asked if I wanted brownies or popcorn (basically for her to make, not for me to eat.) I chose popcorn, I can handle that smell much better than brownies which are my total downfall. I am glad I am the one who buys the groceries so I choose which crap gets brought home. Hopefully this will be good for everyone! I ate: 2 3.5 oz chicken, 2 tomatoes and my cheat, a pear. I didn't realize that wasn't on the allowed list until after I ate it. I don't feel that bad though, isn't an apple and a pear a lot alike anyway? I still need a lot more water than I am drinking though. They say you should have 2 quarts a day and I am nowhere near that!

HCG food chart, allowed foods

• Eat nothing for breakfast. You may drink tea or coffee, but it cannot include sugar and you can only have up to one tablespoon full of milk within a 24 hour period. You may use Stevia or Saccharin.
Lunch
consists of 100 grams (3.5 oz.) of either veal, chicken breast, beef, lobster, fresh white fish, shrimp, or crab. All fat must be removed before cooing the meat and it must be weighed while in its raw state. It must be cooked through grilling or boiling and without any added fat. This meat is to be accompanied by one vegetable. You can choose from the following vegetables:

  • Asparagus
  • Beet-greens
  • Cabbage
  • Celery
  • Chard
  • Chicory
  • Cucumbers
  • Fennel
  • Green salad
  • Onions
  • Red radishes

Day 2, I made it!

Okay, I am never sure when I start a diet how well it will go. Thus, I haven't started a diet on well, a while. I have to make it through the first day which can be very hard! It is just so easy to see something good to eat halfway through the day and eat it saying, "I will start again tomorrow". The advantage I guess with this diet is that you freaking give yourself a shot! I didn't want that for nothing either!

Anyhow, I did cheat today if you would even call it that. I have looked around at other people's blogs and such and I can never figure things out. It is like you have to follow the Siemons protocol to the T on some of these things and others add in Kevin Truedeau's stuff (all organic) I guess I am cheating in a very small way which I really don't think matters, my cheat? I got some sugar free hot chocolate and sugar free crystal light drink mix. The hot chocolate has 50 calories per serving. The Crystal light has none. You are allowed 2T. of milk a day, I figure that is the milk in my hot chocolate. The crystal light is because I am a Dr. Pepper addict and well, I wanted a flavored drink!

I am proud of myself. My weight today…274, Down 3 lbs in one day! That rocks. I wonder if it is real or just like water weight. With girls it seems weight can just fluctuate all over the place.

Anyhow, here is my food:

1 apple

12oz hot chocolate

3 oz chicken for lunch, 3 oz chicken for dinner. I must say that these tiny pieces of chicken are my favorite parts!

1 tomato

1pt crystal light

1 cucumber

1 can of V8 juice, oh yes, another 50 calorie cheat. Hello, it is a tomato with spice. Fantastic!

Day 1 VLCD May 18th


Day 1


Mixing HCG 5000IU

2 cc in HCG

3 cc water into sterile container.

Mix the HCG by knocking it back & forth, not too much

Take the HCG out & put it with the water. This makes 5 ccs total


Inject to the 20 on an insulin syringe for a 200 per day dose.

I gave myself a dose today.


Other tips. You don't want a vacuum in the containers. If you want to take out 3 ccs pull your plunger to 3 ccs and it will just flow out (upside down)


Feelings. I am super tired. I don't know if it was because of a double dose or just me but wow. I have had about 1 liter of water so far. Still trying to drink the green tea. It's not bad, just bland. Wonder if I can just have things that are flavored but liquid? Chicken broth sounds SO GOOD!


My weight 277, ewwww as this was my weight 10 months ago when I was 7 months pregnant.

I haven't had the chance to take photos yet or weigh myself. I really need to do that because that is what this is all about!
